The ripple effect of kindness
It all begins with an idea.
The #GoodDeedProject is a small but mighty movement centered on doing good deeds in our communities.
The movement is simple and carries with it the ever-so-powerful "pass it on" effect. It's a matter of being seen doing good: not for bragging rights but to inspire action in others.
During our most recent Clean St. Pete Event (powered by the #GoodDeedProject), curious on-lookers thanked our amazing volunteers for their service while inquiring how they can get involved!
During our 2 hour Clean St. Pete Event, we collected approximately 220 lbs of trash in less than a mile!
The idea is simple: small acts have a ripple effect that echo through time. We are firm believers that there is magic in kindness; real, tangible, heartfelt magic. Here at The Outlier Foundation, we it is possible to change the world one good deed at a time - and we can do it together.
Through the #GoodDeedProject, we are seeking to reignite the essence of humanity through random acts of kindness. We believe these small acts have the power to elevate, inspire and transform.
Where to begin? Start by asking yourself: have I done my good deed for the day?
Some other ideas: make eye contact, smile through your mask, buy a stranger a cup of coffee, hold the door, let someone in front of you in line or pick up that bit of trash in your neighbor’s yard.
Your actions don't need to be mighty - they just need to come from the heart! Do your part to help shift the destination of humanity and create a world you can be a little bit more proud of.
